Graduate Piping Engineer Belgium 2024

Responsibilities As a Piping Graduate at PM Group, your day to day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities: Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand the scope of work, deliverables, time lines, man hours etc. 3D Piping Design with 3D software tools (Revit, Plant 3D and/orCADWORx) 3D Model coordination between other engineering disciplines (Navisworks software or ACC environment) P&IDs reading, assessment and updating as per as-built situation. Pipe specification assessment. Fittings and components selection for the design. Will require contact with local vendors. Development of Bill of Materials. Work with senior designers and assist in producing piping isometrics from 3D models, in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications and procedures. Duties would include: Equipment modelling and placing. Vendor equipment and instrumentation data tracking. Pipe modelling. Isometric generation and extraction. Interactive and visual clash checking. Isometric back drafting. Coordination of design with fellow designers. Qualifications A degree in Mechanical Engineering. No previous professional experience is required. Good logical thinking and capability to solve problems. Willing to learn new skills and knowledge in the mechanical engineering field. Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline 3D design environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Familiar with 3D design software (Basic experience would be a plus) Strong work ethic. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English. What are we offering?
