Atlas Copco Rental Europe, located in Boom, is part of the Atlas Copco Group and specializes in the rental of temporary compressed air, nitrogen, power, and steam solutions for industrial customers in Belgium and Europe. This rental and service organization serves diverse sectors such as the oil processing industry, manufacturing, and power plants. Through close collaboration at the European level, Atlas Copco Rental has access to an exceptionally large rental fleet. Additionally, Atlas Copco Rental provides customized solutions and a corresponding 24/7 service to its customers.

To support our growing organization, our Operations department is looking for a Fleet Engineer to support our Fleet & Quality Manager and team as well as our internal customers.

The Job role of the Fleet Engineer includes the following responsibilities:

  • Handling Request for Investments and Divestments
  • Create, manage and follow-up of investment and divestment plans in a structured and methodical manner
  • Shaping and supporting Rental Europe fleet processes and systems
  • Manage and follow-up new fleet additions
  • Manage and follow-up fleet arrival and commissioning preparation in the fleet team
  • Ensure fleet analysis for any performance indicator of fleet
  • Perform sustainability improvements for our fleet
  • Support other departments by providing required fleet information
  • Working in accordance with ISO and safety standards
  • Knowledge and Experience Requirements

    The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, preferably but not necessarily in Engineering. She/he has an excellent understanding of technology and order processing practices or equivalent through experience. Prior relevant experience is a plus. 

    She/he will be able to demonstrate solid administrative follow-up skills, has experience in implementing new processes, or is eager to learn them.

    You are an expert in the Office suite and its applications and have experience with at least one ERP system.
    Knowledge of several languages is a plus, but knowledge of English and Dutch is a must.

    Experience with fleet handling is a plus
