ERP Solution Engineer

Context :

The ERP Security Solution Engineer assesses the different applications supported in the ERP domain and guides the implementation teams in making their systems compliant with the corporate security policies.

As a Security Solution Engineer you will develop and implement a security roadmap to ensure that the application portfolio remains in line with corporate security standards and audit recommendations.

The Security Solution Engineer duties require strong communication and organizational leadership skills as you will not only focus on the technology part of the job but also need to be able to translate security requirements in common language understandable by your customers and convince them of the necessary security investments. You will also facilitate tasks for the ERP Security team at the level of engineering and operations and will be the point of contact for any security audit in the ERP area.

Role and Responsibilities :

Engineering (project development):

  • You take a leading role in the security analysis of projects and enhancements.
  • Together with the functional/technical analyst, you define the security solution design (security protocol, authorization roles, user groups, …).
  • You estimate the workload required to implement the security solution design.
  • You follow-up on the project deliverables related to security.
  • You are the owner of the naming conventions and security policies in the ERP domain and you ensure that these are respected.
  • Engineering (improvement actions):

  • You define improvement actions to bring the security level in the domain to the desired level in line with the corporate guidelines.
  • You define improvements related to the ERP Security team's way of working.
  • You define the support roadmap for the security related applications (SAP CUA, SAP GRC, SAP CIS, …)
  • Operations:

  • You keep an overview on the ongoing incidents and assist the team to solve them within the SLA.
  • You follow-up and optimize the access request procedure to ensure that requests are completed within SLA.
  • You define problems for recurring incidents and follow-up on these until closure.
  • You review and optimize the daily morning checks according to the domain needs.
  • You own the documentation related to the security setup in the ERP domain and make sure that this documentation is up to date.
  • Your Profile

  • You have a bachelor or master’s degree (preferably in an IT) or equivalent by experience.
  • you have 3 to 5 years’ experience as integration solution analyst and you acquired good SAP knowledge.
  • You are motivated to develop your career as an internal ERP security solution analyst in Proximus
  • You are a team player and like to take initiative
  • You are optimistic, solution oriented, creative and open minded.
  • You have profound experience in analysis in a complex IT environment.
  • Customer centricity is part of your nature
  • You have knowledge and preferably experience of agile development (Scrum) principles.
  • You can work autonomously, while you value communication and collaboration with others.
  • You have a learning attitude.
  • Good knowledge of English is mandatory (both oral and written). French and/or Dutch is an advantage.
  • You acquire a high level understanding of the business processes in the ERP domain (logistics, finance, hr, internal services,…)
  • You have good knowledge on the SAP authorization concepts in on-premise and cloud applications. If any is missing, you are willing to invest time to achieve this knowledge.
