EMEA CMS Supply Chain Project Engineer
Job Description
As the EMEA CMS Supply Chain Project Engineer with Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (VWTS) you’ll be accountable for project management activities, including FEED, detailed design and construction support for the three CMS Supply Chain plants in the EMEA region. The Project Engineer must be capable of managing multiple projects from $300,000 up to $5,000,000 in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing single point of accountability for project management and project expertise in the region while reporting to the CMS Supply Chain Global Engineering Leader.
Managing project costs, project schedule, project resources, technical competency, environmental requirements and safety.
Interacting with Veolia plant employees and third party engineering suppliers to coordinate project activities and coordination of assigned resources for completion of projects to meet project timeframes.
Participating in and supporting the use of the Front-End Loading, Detail Design, and other demonstrated best practices in the execution of projects.
Partnering with internal customers to develop project approval documents, secure funding, engineer projects, support construction, complete project safety start-up reviews, and aid through the startup of projects.
Conducting technical and commercial bid evaluations.
Managing vendor scopes of work and package delivery through to commissioning.
Coordinating project status and technical design reviews with key stakeholders and internal engineering resources to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Collaborating with peers and work groups. (Maintenance, Reliability, IT, EHS, etc.).

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications.
5 years experience managing capital or expense projects
Strong oral/written communication skills and the ability to interact and work in a team environment.
Ability to support and work across organization boundaries to leverage resources and resolve conflicts.
Understanding of the Front-End loading (FEL 1-3) requirements.
Intimate knowledge of P&IDs, equipment design, HAZOP reviews, electrical/instrument designs, and engineering support for detailed cost estimates and schedules.
Strong scheduling and organization skills, understanding basic strategies for managing successful projects.
Basic understanding of chemical manufacturing operations.

1 or more years of experience managing capital or expense projects.
Must be open to periodic travel between the three EMEA plant sites (bi-monthly)
