Digital Architect (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Architect to join the STA R&D Informatics group. As Digital Architect, you will be responsible for designing a technical and architectural vision as well as guiding the implementation across the digital portfolio aligned with the overall R&D digital transformation objectives. The candidate will have a strong background in digital solution management and a deep understanding of technologies, architecture frameworks and innovations in the digital space.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is your task package:

  •  As Digital architect, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive global digital architecture strategy that supports the digital roadmap.
  • You will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and robust digital architecture solutions aligned with industry best practices, architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • You will guide the implementation of digital architecture solution initiatives across the digital portfolio and provide support and oversight throughout the implementation process.
  • You will conduct in-depth evaluations of emerging digital technologies, platforms, frameworks and assess their potential to enhance our digital capabilities and make recommendations for their adoption or integration into our existing architecture.
  • You will collaborate with technical or IT architecture teams and other cross-functional teams and provide architectural guidance to design and architect digital solutions.
  • You will define integration strategies and patterns to enable seamless data flow and interoperability between digital systems, third-party applications, and legacy systems to ensure data integrity, security, and real-time information exchange.
  • You will foster a collaborative and innovative environment to translate business requirements into technical specifications to be able to drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    This is what we expect:

  • You have a PhD master’s degree with at least 5 years relevant experience digital Life Science.
  • You have proven experience as a Digital Architect or a similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing digital architectural solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital technologies, architecture frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • You have experience in agile methodologies and ways of working.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation, and implementing emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You keep abreast of new developments and innovation in digital technologies and strategy.
  • You are known for your pragmatism, hands-on mentality, leadership and social skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • You exhibit strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
