About the role

Given its transversal scope and responsibility, this role will also act as the right arm of the Head of Data, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment across data functions. The role also supports interactions with factories, brands, and external or group-level partners where data exchanges, GDPR, data protection, data ownership or data usage conditions need to be clarified. In this capacity, the Data Governance Manager helps ensure that data-sharing initiatives are properly framed, documented and aligned with governance, privacy, security, and information architecture principles.
Key responsibilities

* Define and communicate the **vision, strategy, and roadmap** for data governance and enterprise information architecture.
* Build, lead, and develop a **high-performing team** dedicated to data governance and information architecture.
* Develop, document, and enforce **policies, standards, and procedures** for data governance.
* **Design and maintain** business information **models**, including conceptual and logical data models.
* Set data **quality standards**, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms.
* Assess the **benefits and risks** of information use in business contexts, such as new product launches or partnerships.
* Act as a key **Data Office contact** for factories, brands and other partners in discussions related to data exchanges, GDPR, data protection, data ownership and data usage conditions.
