Data Driven Proposal Engineer for Environmental Projects

We are looking for a data analyst to join our Masterdesk. Masterdesk supports the preparation and submission of competitive bids for environmental projects and gives assistance to all projects in execution. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and presenting data from various sources, such as our soil washing installations, water treatment plants, technical specifications, and environmental regulations. You will also closely collaborate with other departments, such as execution, R&D and finance, to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data.

  • Perform data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis using various tools and methods
  • Create and maintain databases, dashboards, reports, and presentations to support the organisation
  • Identify and communicate data insights, trends, and opportunities to project and business management
  • Provide data support and guidance to other departments involved
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in data analysis and environmental solutions
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant work experience as a data analyst, preferably in the environmental sector or a related industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
