We are currently seeking an Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Amaris Consulting. This position is perfect for those with 4-6 years of experience who are ready to take their career to the next level. The role offers an Undetermined Duration Contract and is based in Belgium.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data processing systems using Azure services like Data Factory, Databricks, SQL DW/Synapse Analytics.
  • Create scalable and reliable data pipelines using ETL practices integrated with cloud technology.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop technical solutions accordingly.
  • Analyze complex datasets using big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
  • Maintain security standards for all data platforms through best practices in database management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within a global team environment to achieve project goals on time and within budget constraints.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in order to implement new technologies when beneficial for business growth.

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts particularly Microsoft Azure platform. Your ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills will be key in this role.

  • You have 4-6 years' experience working as a Data Engineer or similar roles focusing on azure-based applications development & deployment.
  • You possess solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, Python programming language, Power BI tools etc.
  • Your analytical mindset enables you handle large volumes of raw & processed data to identify patterns, trends and insights.
  • You have a good understanding of ETL tools and practices along with experience in big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal are essential for this role as you will be working within an international team.
  • Your ability to work independently while also being a strong team player is highly valued.
  • You are always eager to learn new technologies & methodologies that can enhance business operations.
