M365 & Voice Squad is part of the End User Tribe which aims at delivering a great user experience and excellent support. We support the business by enabling the digital transformation thanks to up to date digitally enabled, unified and cost-effective collaboration space. The focus of the Squad is Microsoft365, unified communications (voice & video Cisco/MS Teams).
About the role:
As Unified Communication Engineer you and your colleagues are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the unified communication (VoiP, video). You will work closely with the business stakeholders, Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure the optimal performance, security, and compliance of the Microsoft 365 environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver subject matter expertise of Office 365 with emphasis on MS teams voice calling, meeting and conferencing
Participating in incident remediation efforts to improve reliability/prevent future failure scenarios
Working with service delivery leads and business solution partners to support technology assessments
Optimisation and advanced troubleshooting of Collaboration Solutions
Design documents (high level and detailed level), system configurations, governance, standards and procedures, training outlines and content, service descriptions
Requirements:
Proven experience in the Office 365 (MS Teams Voice) or a certification is a must for this position
Strong knowledge and experience in the below areas: Direct rooting Ms teams meeting and conferencing Experience in implementation (and migration from an existing system) of MS Teams voice calling, chat and meeting and conferencing systems in other organizations
Knowledge/experience in several technologies from the list below: Cisco Call Manager Cisco Cube, Troubleshooting RTMT (Cisco unified Real-time Monitoring tool) NICE, Kurmi, PhonexOne and PeterConnects Webex Cloud SBC – AudioCodes
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 issues and incidents and provide root cause analysis and resolution
Nice to have:
Knowledge ITIL principles
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Experience with programming including Shell scripting (PowerShell), experience in exchange online
