Job Description
Mission
Take on a prominent role in the architecture and design of web solutions.
Work with the wider development team to scope out and develop new web applications for existing services.
Develop a flexible and well-structured front and back end architecture.
Be responsible for work quality, ensuring it meets the technical standards for all client online output.
Qualifications
Profile
Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.
Understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud-native software development principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong focus on quality and best practices.
Technical requirements
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and SQS.
Strong expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.
Experience with IaC such as CloudFormation and Terraform is an added advantage.
Experience with AWS security services such as IAM, KMS, and Security Groups.
Knowledge of software development tools such as Git and JIRA.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and ECS/EKS.
Experience with Serverless architecture and AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
Experience with AWS Elasticsearch, Redshift, and Glue.
Working knowledge of AWS services such as Container, RDS, Redis/ElastiCache.
Experience with CI/CD tools like CodePipeline and CodeBuild or equivalent.
In-depth experience in implementing Microservices and REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
Assets

Experience in multi-threaded, distributed, N-Tier applications.
AWS Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer or AWS Developer.
