We are seeking a motivated Network/Security Specialist to contribute to our team by assisting in deploying security projects, including large-scale encryption networks for our clients. In this role, you'll be involved in designing, testing, staging, shipping, deploying, and troubleshooting encryption devices, significantly enhancing the security infrastructure of our partners. If you're passionate about becoming an expert in networking and security, possess strong problem-solving skills, and are eager to learn, you're the perfect fit for our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Staging and deploying network infrastructure, including automation using tools like Ansible, bash, etc.
Developing and executing testing, staging, shipping, and deployment procedures
Maintaining and expanding the test environment, involving system administration, network encryption, and computer networks (Linux, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
Creating operational procedures and manuals for clients, such as fail-over/fail-back protocols
Troubleshooting network-related issues within the lab and based on client requests
Incident management for clients, ensuring timely resolution of issues
Conducting market studies to explore alternatives to existing solutions
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Requirements:
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus
Willingness to work onsite at the lab in Brussels for multiple days per week
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Some experience with network infrastructure deployment and maintenance is a plus
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting languages like bash is an advantage
Knowledge of computer networks, including Linux, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
