Heidelberg Materials Belgium is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Director to join the team at our headquarters located in Eigenbrakel/Braine-L‘alleud.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • You will actively contribute to the Management Team's strategic decision-making and guide the company's direction.
  • You will directly manage a team consisting of 4 District Sales Managers and 1 Sales Administration Manager, overseeing approximately 40 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions within the Sales Organization.
  • Your responsibilities entail optimizing sales results and margins for RMC BE, while considering Heidelberg Materials' interests in the Belgian market.
  • You will analyze market trends and seize opportunities in product/market combinations, market strategies, customer service enhancements, sustainability initiatives, etc., while also streamlining sales processes and methodologies for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Your profile:

  • You obtained a master degree in Business Administration, with a focus on technical or commercial management.
  • You have a proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving results in a commercial environment, coupled with excellent expertise in sales and negotiation techniques, with demonstrated success in closing deals.
  • You possess excellent communication skills in both Dutch, French, and English, both verbally and in writing.
