By joining the Product Strategy and Innovation division, you will be joining an international and geographically spread team that, through strong collaboration, articulates the business strategy and engages the company to deliver and grow profitable products & services. You will contribute to growing our relevance by innovating to bring safety, efficiency and connections to financial markets for sustainable economic growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Investor Services department, where you will be responsible for managing the product evolutions in Asset Servicing demanded by your product manager colleagues, for defining and designing the required changes/ solution, and for coordinating with Group Business Solution (GBS) and Operational teams and other relevant stakeholders (. Commercial, Network, Risk, Legal) to successfully implement them.
You could be involved in both IT and non-IT projects related to Asset Servicing, primarily for Euroclear Bank and the ESES CSDs (Euroclear France, Belgium and Nederland).

In this role:

  • You drive the project definition phase: You will lead the definition of the detailed business scope with internal (. Product Managers, Operations, Network, Commercial and IT) and external clients or external partners and recommend best solutions taking needs and constraints into account. You collaborate with the Information System Architect and/or Application Owner for the definition of the IT solution. You will define the most optimal trade-off between the project scope and the solution. You contribute to the EPIC Investment Request with the EPIC Business Owner and the EPIC Delivery Owner to support the request for investment proposed to Senior Management in the Investment Theme Meeting.
  • You are a key contributor to the project baselining phase: You produce the high-level requirements and work with the EPIC Business Owner to confirm the business case. You coordinate with the Product Owner, Application Development Owner and Architect to define the best way to deliver the service. You ensure compliance of the delivery with the agreed business scope and high-level requirements.
  • You drive the risk assessment of the new or upgraded service in coordination with Operations, Risk Managers and all relevant stakeholders and obtain approval from the relevant committees.
  • You support the IT delivery team, mainly the Business analysts, in preparing the detailed Solution Requirements document.
  • You work hand in hand with the project sponsors for the Sponsorship committees and the Change Request process. 
  • You contribute to the project roll-out: draft or review client documentation such as service descriptions, newsletters and contracts. provide support to the migration and commercial teams for new client onboarding (including contacts with clients where relevant). act as second-line expert support for Operations, Commercial, Application Development in the post-launch period and suggest improvements to the service level and client satisfaction.
  • You will be asked to work on multiple and/or complex projects/programmes in parallel, and to support or coordinate work between colleagues working on different aspects of the project / programme.
  • the transformation towards an agile methodology is ongoing (coming from a waterfall one) which is the trend triggered by the current company transformation.
  • Your profile:

  • Strong business or technical knowledge in the asset servicing domain (corporate action processing, market claims and transformations, related Swift messaging)
  • TCS BANCS practical knowledge is a clear plus
  • Preferably complemented with good business and/or technical knowledge in one of the related domains: settlement (. Target 2 Securities), withholding tax services (at source tax, tax reclaims), credit and liquidity management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and convince internal and external stakeholders and good interpersonal skills including influencing and negotiating 
  • Strong written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, peers and management
  • Stakeholder and Relationship Management skills

  • Strong sense of priority management
  • Fluent in written and oral English, French and/or Dutch are a plus
  • We offer you to hold a key position in the definition and delivery of what will be the key Euroclear services of tomorrow. We can offer you full responsibility on the files you manage if you show a high degree of autonomy. You will be in regular contact with senior people within the company. In your expert role, you may also be asked to represent Euroclear in external meetings.
