Our Position

Nitto EMEA is looking for an IT Project Manager who is passionate about leading and delivering various IT projects, both technical and business-related, from start to finish. Being an IT Project Manager at Nitto EMEA means that you will work closely with the project sponsors, stakeholders, team members, vendors, and other IT teams to ensure the project objectives and benefits are achieved within the scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards. You will also coach and support junior project leads to grow their skills and competencies in IT project management.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and documenting the project vision, goals, scope, and deliverables that align with the business needs and expectations.
  • Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan that covers all aspects of the project life cycle, from initiation to deployment and closure.
  • Estimating and allocating the required resources, such as staff, equipment, software, and budget, to execute the project tasks and activities.
  • Monitoring and controlling the project progress, performance, and quality, and reporting on the project status, milestones, risks, and issues to the project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Managing and resolving any project changes, conflicts, or problems that may arise during the project execution, and escalating them to the appropriate level when necessary.
  • Ensuring that the project deliverables meet the agreed standards and specifications, and comply with the relevant policies, procedures, and leading practices.
  • Conducting project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify and document the project achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Coaching junior project leads to deliver less complex projects according to Nitto’s expectations and spreading a project management methodology across the organisation.
  • Your Profile

    To be successful in this role, we believe you will need:

  • A thinking ability at master level with a possible background in computer science, Information Technology, Economics/Business, or a related field. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT project management. If this experience should be in an international environment or you have a strong motivation for working within an international environment, you have a bonus point!
  • Experience in managing a variety of projects, both infrastructure and application related, throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. We encourage a range of perspectives and give people the space to express them.
  • Ability to deliver own work independently and apply a collaborative attitude towards other IT team members and business stakeholders.
  • A coaching mindset towards junior team members. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
