Implementation Engineer

... Implementation Engineer needed in our AGV Europe team Do you like working on projects and challenges and would you like to expand on your existing experience? Your role reports into our Service and Support Manager and you will design systems to meet customer needs. These systems are for automated material handling, and you deal with installation, testing and debugging of the system whilst modifying equipment and software across the globe. You will troubleshoot and determining what resources you need to resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software problems as you make software and hardware adjustments, training customers to use the equipment. Travel is estimated to be 70-90% of the time. The Opportunity ... The Opportunity ... You will work with Computer Software/Applications so we need knowledge of basic database querying / editing (e.g. Access, SQL, etc) a basic knowledge AutoCad and programming concepts Electrical fault finding on DC circuits is also a part of your role so an understand of electrical wiring schematics is required An understanding of wired and wireless networks would be useful including wireless security standards, fault finding techniques and VPN usage Basic bench fitting skills and being able to follow mechanical assembly drawings and execute mechanical fault finding required If you have a basic understanding of hydraulics / pneumatics and the components and can follow a simple circuit diagram that would be useful Your role is in a customer-facing environment so you must be comfortable working in challenging situations, while ensuring customer care and safety first for you and our client *Please note that if you have some of the above but not all the skills listed and are keen to develop then we can train the gaps that you have! We would like a Bachelors of Science degree (B.S.) in Engineering in any discipline of Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer or Mechatronic) That you have had to write reports or business correspondence, in your role That you can present information and respond to questions internally and externally English is really important as a language at JBT and all other additional languages are a bonus – our team speak English / French / Dutch and German We need you to have a valid driver's license Why work at JBT ...
