HR Director: Asia, Middle East, and Europe

PATH is currently recruiting

for an HR Director for the Asia, Middle East, and Europe (AMEE) region. HR Directors at PATH work in a coordinated effort to design and implement PATH’s people strategy and facilitate the delivery of innovative HR practices. These roles advance PATH’s mission through effective partnering with leaders and staff and leveraging HR expertise to influence business decisions in their regions. This regional HR Director role will report to the Chief People and Diversity Officer and will supervise our HRBP team in AMEE.

The HRBP team in AMEE is a distributed group of highly skilled HR specialists which supports PATH teams across the AMEE region. The AMEE region HR Director is a member of the global HR leadership team and a member of the PATH AMEE leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearheading the development, integration, and oversight of comprehensive people, culture, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) across various HR disciplines, which may include talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, global mobility, employee relations, compliance, talent management, learning and development, and organizational design.

  • Taking accountability for enabling the organization to attract, nurture, and retain top talent in alignment with PATH strategies within the region.

  • Co-leading efforts to cultivate a shared commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within PATH's regional operations.

  • Leveraging data, analytics, and leadership insights to drive informed decision-making and influence leaders throughout the organization.

  • Providing consultation to both employees and managers on a wide array of employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and local labor laws.

  • Offering guidance and support to the AMEE leadership team on talent development, performance management, employee relations, ethics and compliance, and adherence to labor law regulations.

  • Managing the AMEE HRBP team and overseeing HR operations across multiple countries within the region.

  • Implementing and reinforcing PATH's risk and compliance strategy and practices to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and mitigate potential risks.

  • In collaboration with the relevant center of excellence, ensuring that hiring and employment practices uphold organizational and local standards of fairness and equity.

  • Recommending and co-creating training initiatives covering various HR topics, from policy and procedure compliance to professional and leadership skill development.

  • Collaborating to cultivate a workplace culture where feedback, open communication, and honesty are not only encouraged but also recognized and rewarded, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and mutual respect.

  • Required Experience and Competencies:

  • A track record of bringing a solution-oriented approach to working with clients to address the wide range of challenges required in a HRBP role including talent management, leadership and employee coaching, employee relations and training and development.

  • Ability to collaborate and partner with stakeholders and partners to identify priorities and cocreate solutions to HR related issues.

  • Experience leading policy violation investigations and executing corrective actions plan.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage the uniquely differentiated HR role while working effectively in a client team environment.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness working efficiently, productively, and with urgency in a fast-paced environment.

  • Cultural agility

  • Ability to move initiatives forward and communicate effectively while managing multiple constituencies. 

  • Ability to write professional policies and procedures in English and French.
