Data Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an experienced **Data Analytics Engineer** with strong hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, from data analysis and modelling to pipeline development, orchestration, quality, and performance optimization.
### Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain robust **data pipelines**.
* Develop data ingestion processes from various source systems into a **hybrid data platform**.
* Work with on-premises **Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)** using **Data Vault 2.0** and cloud platforms using **Medallion Architecture**.
* Develop and optimize data models using **Kimball dimensional modelling**.
* Build and maintain data transformations using **dbt, SQL, and Jinja**.
* Work with **Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Power BI**.
* Support data quality, governance, workflow orchestration, and performance optimization.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify relevant **KPIs and reporting requirements**.
* Work pragmatically within an **Agile environment**.
### Requirements
* **Master's degree** or equivalent.
* Proven recent experience as a **Data/Analytics Engineer** and **Power BI Business Analyst**.
* Expert knowledge of **SQL and Power BI/DAX**.
* Strong experience with **dbt, Kimball dimensional modelling, and Data Vault 2.0**.
* Experience with **Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Python, and Azure DevOps**.
* Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data mapping, data migration, and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
* Agile/Scrum experience.
* Relevant certifications such as **Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Fundamentals, dbt Fundamentals, or Collibra Data Steward** are a plus.
* Good communication skills in **Dutch, English, and French**.
