Your tasks as a data analyst:

You develop curiosity and understanding of business context and processes which positions you as a perfect data partner to our business teams

You translate the business requests into a clear data insights or reporting questions

You collect, cleanse and validate the data you need from different sources

You ideate and create automated dashboards relevant for the business scope you cover

You develop a proactive partnership with your stakeholders so that our data assets can help them as efficiently as possible

You perform deep-dive analyses on specific insights requests that lead to actionable recommendations for the business colleagues

You take initiatives to enhance the adoption of data solutions and the data fluency of your business stakeholders

You take an active role in the community of data analysts within Telenet, through sharing sessions, inspiration and coaching

You cover the scope of Product Entertainment, supporting our Product Managers and marketeers with relevant dashboards and insights centered around Digital TV, TV apps, TV advertising..

You explore small and big data in your quest to find answers to diverse business.

You work two days at the office in Mechelen, three days from home.

Our ideal candidate has …

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as data or business analyst or in a comparable role

Strong analytical and data skills, with knowledge of Excel, SQL and a dashboarding tool such as Qlik Sense (advantage), or Power BI or Tableau

A Master’s degree in a business or technology domain (Business engineering, Applied Economics, Computer science, Digital…) or a comparable experience

Good presentation and storytelling skills

A problem-solving and result-driven mindset

A first solid experience with stakeholder management

Knowledge and experience in telecom (especially digital TV or video industries), media or consulting or comparable sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with the Belgian entertainment market.
