Reporting to the Group Development Director, you will support the development and the execution of acquisitions, divestments, partnership, and other strategic development related projects for the Group according to the company strategy.
As you progress, you will assume increasing responsibilities collaborating closely with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
In this role, you'll dive into various aspects of corporate development, including strategy, finance, law, business operations as well as market & competition analysis
 JOB DESCRIPTION
Market intelligence & deal sourcing
Conduct comprehensive market analyses, including core and non-core sectors, encompassing competition mapping, surveillance, and market trends assessment.
Continuously monitor and track potential acquisition targets to enrich the M&A pipeline conducting thorough analyses and creating detailed company profiles.
Proactively initiate contact with prospects and nurture relationships for potential opportunities spontaneously or during fair and industry events.
Collaborate cross-functionally within the company to evaluate and recommend opportunities aligned with Lyreco's strategy and growth objectives.
Create and deliver high quality presentation materials and reports to top management to facilitate decision making.
Undertake various ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.
M&A, divestment, and partnership projects
Participate or Lead the end-to-end project management of acquisition, divestment, and partnership projects, from discovery to closing phase.
Coordinate and support cross-functional teams throughout the transaction lifecycle, liaising with internal experts (e.g., legal, accounting, tax, digital, IT, etc) and external advisors to ensure seamless execution.
Conduct buy vs. build analyses, financial modeling, valuation assessments, and synergy modeling to formulate bid recommendations for top management. Prepare and communicate efficiently the deliverables, key findings and recommendations to top management including GO/NOGO.
Facilitate post-acquisition processes, supporting business teams in risk mitigation and ensuring alignment of objectives during post-closing and integration phases.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
Strong project management skills, overseeing both internal and external resources, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to build robust relationships. Collaborative, respectful and empathetic communication, actively listening to others' viewpoints, expressing ideas and recommendations with humility and diplomacy.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages for effective communication.
Curious and analytical mindset, ability to zoom in / Zoom out.
Autonomous, proactive, resilient, hands-on approach to problem-solving and initiative-taking to meet deadline even under pressure.
Fluent English is a must, French highly appreciated/recommended and other languages a plus.
Willingness to travel.
Sense of discretion in handling sensitive information and confidential matters,
Financial analysis skills is a plus.
