At Atlas Copco, we are committed to developing cutting-edge software for the measurement, analysis, and simulation of complex machinery setups and central control systems. Our software, serving both our internal sales and service team and external partners worldwide, is in a state of constant evolution. We are in the process of crafting a new cloud-based iteration of this software to meet emerging demands, including complex machine behavior, quality, modularity, cybersecurity, expedited time-to-market, and support for additional equipment such as air treatment systems.

Translating the needs of our stakeholders into finished products necessitates teamwork across diverse backgrounds, the adoption of emerging technologies, prototyping, and the creation of showcases and demonstrations. What We Expect from You 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to develop highly available and fault-tolerant Software as a Service (SaaS) systems. This could involve creating an API for delivering simulation results related to machine performance.

  • Work closely with fellow developers to design, code, review, test, deploy, and maintain features.

  • Strive for the creation of high-quality software systems by incorporating unit tests and exhibiting prowess as a discerning code reviewer.

  • Proactively assess and enhance systems in terms of functionality, efficiency, scalability, security, and stability.

  • Champion software craftsmanship and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the team's development culture.

  • Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong desire to cultivate domain-specific knowledge and a keen interest in the latest trends in the cloud.

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a software craftsman and hold a master's degree in computer science or a related field. Alternatively, have 5+ years of robust experience in cloud computing, including AWS or Azure certifications.

  • Exhibit significant expertise in cloud-native applications and web architecture.

  • Showcase proficiency in back-end development using C#.

  • Display experience in RESTful API design and integration, for example, OpenAPI and Swagger.

  • Have a solid grasp of security and identity essentials, including OAuth, TLS, public key cryptography, X. CA certificates, RBAC, and service roles/managed identities.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with databases, encompassing data structure modeling, SQL query proficiency, and the ability to differentiate between common database types.

  • Show familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code technology.

  • Possess awareness of front-end libraries or frameworks like React.

  • Command knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP.

  • Be conversant with software system deployment practices, encompassing containers, CI/CD, and DevOps.

  • Communicate effectively with excellent oral and written English skills.
