ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES
As Associate Director - Product Manager (Financial data, instruments and risk scores) you will be focusing on the implementation of data sets to Orbis and Catalyst products, and other data delivery platforms, and participate to the successful delivery of key initiatives that drive Data Solutions' revenue growth.
The candidate will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the product life cycle, from reception of business requirements to deployment on our products and customer enablement.
Orbis is the world's most powerful comparable data resource with information on around 500 million companies and entities across all countries.
Specific responsibilities for the position may include:
Solicit and collect feedback from internal stakeholders and clients to prioritize initiatives, create content roadmaps, and define the functional requirements for new releases.
Act as a liaison between the engineering, program management and data operations teams to facilitate understanding of the implementation and design requirements.
Ensure that new features are implemented following the release planning and according to the specifications.
Create content and sales enablement material, and review documentation for release of new features and existing data and functionalities.
Support and provide training activities and the needs of multiple teams as a subject matter expert of assigned data domains.
Provide product support and communications to clients and internal stakeholders.
Work with the product strategists and support the wider product strategy team to plan and execute the strategy for that product or use case.
Guide, mentor and possibly manage Product Managers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors required, Master degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field preferred.
Typically requires at least 8 years relevant experience as a Product Analyst, Product Manager or a role within Sales, Solutions Delivery or Customer Service Management.
Able to gather requirements and proven client-facing and stakeholder management experience
Understand the business requirements and translate these into requirements for engineering and data operations teams.
Analytical mindset and quick to learn and understand new technical concepts and data processes.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Action and result driven, pro-active attitude and able to take the lead and make decisions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, experienced in creating and giving presentations in PowerPoint.
Experience in at least one of the following areas is appreciated but not essential: SQL, Jira, Miro, Trello
