Software Project Manager Customer Engagement


We are looking for a Software Project Manager who wants to take the opportunity to participate in a growth story together with us. We have ambitious plans to build a Customer Engagement team and you will have the opportunity to build that team together with us. You will join the Dynamics 365 Project team where you will guide our clients in their transformation path to a Dynamics 365 & Power Platform based customer engagement platform .

As our Project Manager you will be responsible for managing complex UMAX software implementation project for major Utility customer in Europe, where your goal will be to deliver the project scope within time and budget.

Job location: Ghent ( Sint-Denijs-Westrem ), with regular travel to the customer’s premises.

As our Project Manager, you…

  • daily manage a team of consultants (Technical Experts, Functional Consultants, Developers, Test Consultants…) working on the project.
  • attend the daily stand-up meetings and ensure daily progress according to plan, keep team focused , manage scope & complexity , …
  • organize monthly financial and progress reporting
  • take the lead of the software implementation project and manage the Software Development Life Cycle of the solution
  • report on the status of the project to the Management team on a regular basis
  • coordinate the handover of the solution , after the “go live”, to the Service Delivery team
  • are responsible for stakeholder management , customer meetings , etc.
  • Our ideal candidate…

  • has a master’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • has at least 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management, knowledge of SureStep is a plus
  • has excellent customer-client relation skills , and knows how to manage towards customer success
  • has experience with managing CRM and/or ERP projects - experience with CRM related business processes is a plus
  • knowledge of the utilities sector is a plus
  • has proven People Management skills
  • has excellent oral and written communications skills in Dutch and English
  • is willing to travel regularly to the customer’s premises
  • is a dynamic team player with true problem-solving mentality who likes to take initiatives and is driven by quality
