Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer you will be part of a cross-functional development team and work together with other engineers in a scaled Agile setting to further develop the core product of Selligent Marketing Cloud. You have a keen interest in security, privacy, scalability and performance, deeply care about customer experience and pay attention to details. Together with your team, sprint after sprint, you deliver mission critical features and improvements while ensuring the highest level of quality within a modern software stack, using .NET (core), Angular, OpenAPI, Cypress, Tailwind CSS, NX, SonarQube, single-spa and cloud technologies.

You will work internally in our Hasselt office.

Profile

  • Enjoyed a higher education in IT/Engineering or equivalent through experience
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure second/third line support for existing applications
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in English. Dutch and French are a plus
  • Affinity with Agile & Test-driven Development
  • Being familiar with monorepo setups is a plus

    • Qualifications

  • Good understanding of software architecture (database, web services, web layer, ...)
  • Design/develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and services
  • Experience writing unit tests and testable code
  • Good understanding of version control systems (Git, AzureDevops)
  • Experience with SaaS environment and/or Azure Cloud Service is a plus

    • Role specific Qualifications-Back end:

  • Experience in C# (.NET and .Net Core)
  • Possess excellent OO analysis, design, and implementation skills
  • Experience in (T-)SQL
  • Knowledge in Web service APIs (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON) 
  • Knowledge of C++ is a plus
  • Azure stack knowledge is a plus

    • Role specific Qualifications-Front end:

  • Possess excellent HTML, CSS & JavaScript skills
  • Good knowledge of Angular (or AngularJS)
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Being familiar with microfront-ends is a plus
