Your role & work environment

As a Digital First Customer Journey Expert (CJE) and Product Owner , your challenge is to offer our clients a differentiating mobile Daily Banking experience for their financial needs in every important step of their life by leveraging on our digital capabilities.

Based on market insights and trends, strong data analysis, a look at the competition and a thorough understanding of our client’s needs, you will define the best mobile first Daily Banking proposition to drive our prospects and clients through our digital environment to answer their needs.

You will be asked to create a mobile customer experience that goes beyond expectations and enable our customers to get the most out of their money thanks to their ING Banking app. You will do so by developing propositions that are in line with our contact strategy and that answer our customers’ needs.

You will also develop digital marketing campaigns to bring existing and upcoming features to the market, drive qualitative traffic and lead towards the ING Banking app, our preferred digital channel.

As a product Owner, you

  • Steer the business priorities , managing your backlog, taking decisions and being capable to manage proactively your stakeholders
  • Build a domain vision , share it and put it into motion and demonstrate it
  • Take accountability  of the delivery and sustainable financial growth with your squad
  • You are part of the tribe Daily Banking Digital First , organized in value spaces with specific purposes and you will strongly collaborate with other tribes to digitalize the whole of our clients portfolio.

    Your key responsibilities

  • You create extra value for both our retail customers and ING by defining and optimizing the Daily Banking proposition including commercial success of value added services
  • You coordinate strategic reflections for the retail segment and define ways to execute the strategy .
  • You monitor performance indicators for the retail segment (e.g. x-selling, P&L Daily Banking… ) and propose concrete actions.
  • You deliver on key priorities , manage these within the backlog of your squad and manage impediments and your stakeholders.

  • You combine strong analytical capabilities with a creative mindset and you are capable to have a helicopter view to better understand the global picture of any assignment, with a focus on what matters the most and connect the dots .
  • Change, innovation & testing is part of your DNA : you are interested in how the world evolves, and translate this into the continuous improvement of our customer propositions & way of working.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and priorities management
  • You love collaborating in multidisciplinary and self-steering teams and educate your colleagues on your field of expertise
  • You hold a Master’s degree or are qualified with relevant digital experience.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French AND English.
