As Lead developer you will join an international squad responsible for all the websites of the group. The team is made up UI/UX designers, 3 (junior) full-stack developers and a Channel Owner. The team is spread over several locations – making English the official language in the team.

The company is also working with a Belgian Web Agency responsible for the design of the web site architecture.

As a Lead Developer your main responsibilities will be:

  • Discuss about new functionalities and business requests with the Channel owner
  • In partnership with the Architect from the web agency, make sure that any new developments follow the architecture guidelines and comply with the necessary standards in terms of performance, security, maintance friendliness, usability and scalability.
  • Development tasks: 60% front-end30% backend10% integration
  • Coaching/mentoring of the less experienced developers in the squad (team will grow by another 2 developers in 2022)

  • You are an expert in HTML, CSS, Typescript and React.
  • You have technical knowledge of a CMS (eg. Drupal)
  • You like to have a mentoring role and share your knowledge with the team members.
  • You have minimum 3 years of experience in website development.
  • You can translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements.
  • You are able to communicate effectively in English. Dutch is a plus as the office is located in Antwerp.
