Java Developer with Angular experience

Description

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Java Developer with Angular experience , fluent in English, who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer’s premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team responsible for developing and operating applications in the area of Service Management (ticketing tool and user request portal) and communications support.

Your Tasks:

  • Provision of expert advice and assistance;
  • Technology watch, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in database management systems,;
  • Java Enterprise technology, enterprise & web content management, XML, interoperability, etc.;
  • Data analysis and data modelling;
  • Development and maintenance of software applications;
  • Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements.

    • Requirements

  • At least 14 years of combined IT studies and professional IT experience;
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Java EE 7, Java tools and frameworks: Spring data 1.13.x, Spring 4.x, Spring Security 4.x and Hibernate;
  • Excellent knowledge of Web services (SOAP, REST) and WebSockets and Java Message Service (Queues and Topics);
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 12.x and Oracle WebLogic 12.x;
  • At least 2 years of experience in the following Front-end frameworks: Angular 7, NgRx, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and PrimeNG;
  • Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, etc.;
  • Experience in Continuous integration and build environment: Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, SourceTree, Git or SVN, JUnit or similar;
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills;
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment;
  • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
